a) Data provided voluntarily by the user (Contact Form) Through the "Contact" page of the website, the user can voluntarily send requests for information.
Data collected: Name, Email Address, Phone Number, Message content.
Purpose: Respond to requests for information or assistance submitted by the user.
Legal Basis: Performance of pre-contractual measures taken at the request of the data subject (Art. 6, para. 1, point (b), GDPR).
b) Browsing data The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, certain personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols (e.g. IP addresses, domain names of computers, time of request, etc.).
Purpose: Obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and checking that it is functioning correctly; establishing liability in the event of hypothetical cyber crimes committed against the site.
Legal Basis: Legitimate interest of the Data Controller in the proper functioning and security of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
The site uses a few third-party services to improve the user experience and provide specific features:
Hosting: The site is hosted on the servers of Hostinger. The servers where the data resides are physically located in France (European Union), ensuring full compliance with the security standards required by the GDPR for data storage.
Google Fonts and Google Maps (Google Ireland Limited): The website integrates typography fonts and interactive maps provided by Google. The use of these services implies that the user's browser sends requests to Google's servers, resulting in the collection of the user's IP address.
Place of treatment Ireland / USA. Data transfer to the USA (if applicable) is governed by the Standard Contractual Clauses or the Data Privacy Framework.
Booking Widget (Smartness Booking Engine): There is a widget/link on the website that allows the selection of stay dates and redirects the user to the Booking Engine provided by Intelligence. Once the user clicks and is redirected, the booking and the processing of related data (including payment data) take place entirely on the Smartness platform, which will operate as an independent Data Controller or Data Processor in accordance with its own Privacy Policy.
Cookie Management (Complianz): The website uses the Complianz plugin to manage the cookie banner and users' informed consent in compliance with the ePrivacy Directive and the GDPR. The plugin records the user's cookie consent preference in an anonymised manner.
The processing of personal data is carried out by means of the operations indicated in Art. 4 no. 2) GDPR (collection, recording, organisation, structuring, storage, consultation, adaptation, alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction of data). The data are processed using IT and telecommunication tools.
Retention periods:
Data sent via contact form they will be kept for no longer than is strictly necessary to fulfil the request and, subsequently, for the compliance with any legal obligations or for the protection of the Data Controller's rights.
I browsing data they are deleted immediately after being processed or kept for a maximum of 7 days, barring the need to investigate crimes.
Preferences regarding the biscuit they will be stored for the period specified by the banner (usually a maximum of 6 months/1 year).
Apart from what is specified for navigation data (which is required for technical functioning), the user is free to provide personal data through the contact form. Failure to provide such data may make it impossible to obtain what has been requested.

Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, the data subject also has the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali) (www.garanteprivacy.it).
